DESCRIPTION:Happy Honu Shave Ice is owned and operated by a husband and wife team – Desmond & Laura Martin. Laura grew up in Phoenix\, AZ and was raised on “Raspados” – Mexican style shave ice desserts. Desmond grew up in Haleiwa\, HI where Hawaiian style shave ice was always the favorite “after-da-beach” treat. When They finally came together to realize and integrate their passion for shave ice\, they decided to pursue the craft\, in hopes of sharing that same happiness with everyone. Their desire is to serve up the freshest\, softest snow\, embellished with a myriad of favorite flavors \, fillings\, and toppings. Their hope is that while people sit down to relax and enjoy these “made with ALOHA” desserts\, that LIFE HAPPENS\, and relationships are created and strengthened\, and that this world is impacted by LOVE\, one person & one shave ice at a time. \n“We don’t just make shave ice\, we design smiles…” \n
